What breed do you think?

So we got a new puppy and she's a .... mutt. We are just wondering what breeds she might be. I am including pictures of her, her mom and her dad. She's 6 weeks old and about 4 1/2 pounds. What do you think? Dad is the white dog with the brown eyes and brown ear, mom is the one with the puppies (that was probably obvious). The others are the puppy, Luna.

I should add, mom's owners are not 100% sure what kind of dog she is and dad was an orphan that got in with mom.

Id say beagle too and Dad perhaps has a bit of Australian Cattle Dog colouring. Six weeks is very early to take the puppy; would it not be possible to leave her with Mum for a couple more weeks? It would pay off in the long run.

The people who had the puppies wanted them gone. Mom wanted nothing to do with the puppies and actually quit nursing them early. She has done great and is eating amazing (probably too much). I agree that it would have been best for them to stay longer but we don't own the parents and they felt like it was time.

At the very least make sure you get the dog into puppy training as soon as you can. The socialization of your dog can only really be achieved by other dogs.

Mom looks like she has some beagle and basset hound in her. Father could be the english pointer mix. Your puppy looks like a Braque d'auvergne mix or black and white pointer mix.
