That's fantastic, I feel sorry for you with all the cars haha!
great news about this site being only positive reinforcement. I can't wait in ten years time this dominance myth will be finally dead. I actually asked one of the dog trainers i got in contact with the other day, her own opinion on why this myth has survived for so long, her response was it is so easy to blame the dog. and it is. also in my opinion it is laziness, if a dog does not respond to a recall it is because you haven't took the time to teach a good firm recall. and the environment is different and distractions, instead the lazy dog owner will shock the dog. I don't get it, in our country, we are banning different cigarette packaging and we legalize same sex marriage, but we can't protect our dogs and cats. it's so wrong.
Never been to Falkirk but heard it's boring lol I've always wanted to see the wheel though. So are most people on this website more of modern scientific approach dog training as opposed to dominance, pack leader training? I prefer modern day dog training but each to their own..
Well I did google and actually I sawn article from January 2015 on the Scottish goverment actually considering it. Which is really good, I would love all special collars to be banned. People say they save lives but if they spent the time and built a bond and trained there dog and supervised them we wouldn't need them. As I'm sure you know. Well I am from Edinburgh but live in Irvine. How about you?
