Red face Visual Problems in Boston Terrier

Hello All !
I am brand new to this forum and am reaching out because I'm stressing out about my 1.5 yr old Boston Terrier.
A bit of background on her eye condition: She had an eye proptosis at 7 weeks old. Heartbreaking. She is now blind in her left eye. She did, however, get to KEEP that eye ( no removing eye and sewing socket ) ...... She's been just fine lately, running around as crazy as ever. But we noticed that she started not catching her toys like she used to. She'd have to search for them when they were a foot from her. Shortly after we noticed this, she ran head on into a heavy flower pot and it made her stagger. Really rang her bell. She continued to have the strange visual antics after that and I feared that maybe she got a concussion. I took her to the eye specialist. He did thorough exam and said her right eye is totally normal, fine, and that she was just being a goofy Bostie. With the one eye it's harder for her to focus he suggested. Jump 3 weeks down the road: now she's really acting up. And her 'good eye' isn't constricting as much as normal in the sunlight. She , while inside the house, has walked into a wall or two and holds her nose close to the ground, sniffing her way around........ BUT, she can track a house fly with uncanny precision still. I'm totally confused. Eye specialist says don't worry but I watch her day in and day out and I fear she's losing her vision in her 'good eye'. Anyone have any experience with this type of thing and if so can you please advise ? Any help welcomed ! Thank you so, so much.

She may still see in her right eye, but it may not be as clear as it used to be. You can test her vision by making a jabbing motion towards her "good" eye with your hand. It should cause her to blink or flinch.

Don't use a flat palm because it may push air towards her eye which will cause her to react by closing the eye anyway.

If she reacts by blinking - you know she can see *something*.
