Super Half Asleep Introduction

Mine name is Reese Cooper, I'm in my late twenties. I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado with my wife.

I'll be perfectly honest, and let's hope people don't attack me with pitchforks, I'm more of a cat person than a dog person. I grew up with cats all my life, I work at an animal shelter with cats. I have never been a fan of the slobbering fellow canines.

That doesn't mean I'll abandon one, especially if my wife is involved. My wife brought home a 7 month old, untrained, Labrador Catahoola mix into our home. Yes, it has cause some disagreements, but that doesn't mean I won't put the time and effort into.

Her name is Aero. And she has her cute moments, but she also has her disastrous moments. One of those being her not letting me sleep.

As a hobby, I like to write and compose music.

I work at an animal shelter, as one of the staff members and actually get paid.

And currently I'm very tired. I want to go back to bed. Curl up and sleep. Aero will not let me, with her whining and chuffing. I have to stay up to make sure she doesn't ruin the doors or get into something I don't want her to.

Hi Reese & welcome I too am a cat person, I have 2, but I also have a stunning Welsh Springer Spaniel who is a rescue dog. She had lots of health issues when we first got her & I had very little sleep for the first 2 weeks, once we had gotten those sorted she settled down & now I am besotted with her she is my baby (my real babies have long grown up & flown the nest ) I'm sure with time & patience you will work through your problems with Aero, she looks beautiful by the way
ETA. I think you do an amazing job working in rescue x

That's not Aero. Ha. Aero is a lab catahoola mix. That's just a picture of a wolf because I don't have any pictures uploaded onto my CPU about Aero.

Yeah dogs, I've been working at a shelter. I think they are cute, I'll pet them. But that's as far as I want my relationship with them to go.

Aero has test my patience a lot. And she's showing me the reason why I am not a dog fan to begin with.
