Hi!

Welcome to the forum.

You should try posting your questions in the training section of the forum, you'll probably get a lot more answers doing that.

Here's a link to a thread that has lots of training videos and training tips https://www.dogforum.com/dog-training...rticles-11426/ .

I'm pretty useless for offering advice on teaching fetch, one of mine would fetch but quickly lost interest. The other would look at me as if to say, "You threw it away, you go get it.".

Are you trying to teach him to stay by you off leash, or on leash?

Welcome to the forum! I also demand pictures of your puppy. Rotties are my favorite breed!

Follow Rains recommendation. You'll find lots of good advice in the training section and more people will read and answer posts in the training section than in the introductions

P.s. I have taught my dog to retrieve with a retriever bag where you can put food or treats in it. First I attached the bag to a string, then had her sit next to me, opened the bag and fed her a couple of treats. Repeated that a couple of times. Then threw it 1 m away from me slowly pulling it back - opened the bag, fed her treats and so forth. I repeated it a couple of times and she quickly realized: bag in my hand = food! Then I introduced a command (bring it) for retrieval and so forth. It's a great way to play and bond with your dog while mentally working it's brain and you can feed an entire breakfast or/and dinner with it. you can also hide it and make your dog find it and retrieve it to you.

I will put some photos these days because i don't have a lot of time right now. Should I put the photos there where i wrote some things about my dog?

Are you trying to teach him to stay by you off leash, or on leash?
Well I already teached him to stay by me with leash, but I would like to learn him to go by me without leash too. When i have tennis ball in my hand he just looking at me and follow me step by step but when I throw the ball he grab her and run away. I hate that!
PS. Thanks for videos.

Maya Papaya:
I will try the trick with a beg. It sounds very interesting.
