Agree, stunning dog! I'm sure the SA will subside, just take it a bit at a time. I stayed with Betsy 24/7 for a week when we first got her, then over a period of 3 or 4 days left her for very short periods extending it bit by bit, she soon learn that I would be coming back x

Thank you, he's gotten MUCH better, we're now in our second week together. He still follows me *everywhere* which is ok but he's starting to show a bit more independence. I think he will be fine, I enjoy coming home so much to see how excited he is!

It can drive you a bit nuts though! Betsy not only followed me EVERYWHERE for the first week, she also cried pretty much the whole time We think it was a combination of just being confused & because she had such bad teeth, poor love. This eased after our vet removed a tooth & gave her a dental. That said, she still likes to know where I am but it's more out of curiosity
