I found this forum when searching for some health issues with my pup, and people here were very helpful so I think I may just stick around. To ease everyone's mind, Raf only has a tiny bit of demodex or ringworm but is healing nicely
Anyway, I adopted Raf (yes, named after my favorite Ninja Turtle growing up
) on April 28th 2011 from the Humane Society. He's a Lab/Mix...not sure what the mix part is though, any ideas? He was found on an Indian Reservation on the border of North and South Dakota tied up to a flagpole. Apparently he was part of a litter that didn't get a home because he was 'too old' at 2 months old! He was brought in throwing up spaghetti and meatballs and had thinning hair around his eyes. He's got a good home now and is loving life going up to the cabin on weekends and playing with all of his friends. We're coming up on his first bday, I'm estimating it to be Nov. 28th.
Now, on to the good part...here are some pictures
A few weeks after he arrived at his new home
As deep as he'd go on his first trip to the cabin
Just love this picture
As the other dogs were jumping off the dock, Raf would watch from the dock and then run to meet them at shore
My two loves
So much for only going in to your knees! I was so proud.
