Hi there! My name is Kady, and I'm a fairly new fur-mom. In March, I adopted now 14 month old Sparks, a brindle mixed pup, from a shelter. He's such a sweet boy, super high energy, but so loving and I couldn't have asked for a better pup.
We did quickly realize that Sparks needed to have fourlegged friends around him more often, so we returned to the same shelter in April and adopted Specks, a now 11 month old female mix. Another sweet baby, gets along great with people, other dogs, and kids. At first, she had a little bit of food aggression toward Sparks.
Our vet, and the trainer that my babies are going to can't believe how great these dogs are, and told me how lucky I am to have found not one, but two great shelter dogs. I couldn't agree more! I love my babies. We're totally unsure of their breeds, but I have ordered the DNA test to find out.
Here's some picks of my babies. Specks is the brindle and white, Sparks is brindle and black.
