GOOD NEWS forum buddies....Moose is doing fine...no blockages...vet thinks it is just stress from being an only fur kid after all these years. She went the whole nine yards knowing what I have been through with Otis and the dear doctor didn't even charge me for all the x-ray she took....He is on a bland diet for a week or so...boiled chicken and rice, no treats and getting shots twice a day for 3 days...he just LOVES that....
When I was at the vets office I met a very nice lady who ran a rescue called "Harley's Hope". If you do a group search on petfinders using zip code 72644 you will find her. She runs this out of her home and it is simply amazing how well socialized the dogs are cause they aren't always in cages or runs...they rotate in and out of her house to keep their manners up. Anyway, I went to look at some Corgi / Boston Terrier puppies she had (way too cute) when this darling little girl looked into my eyes....she kept coming up to me dancing and smiling...I literally felt my heart melt in my chest...I asked if she was available for adoption and she WAS...her name is Paige...I am calling her Princess P...I took her straight to the vet for a check up and to pick up Moose and since the groomer was in and not busy...had her given a bath and trim. Moose loves her...and she is a little snuggle bunny...the terrier in Moose makes him a little more independent...she weighs all of 8 lbs. I am almost certain she is a Maltese / teacup Shih Tzu mix... she has a ivory tint to her and a little black and darker brown only on her ears and talk. You have to be in the sunlight to actually see it. Any way...Moose has perked up a lot with her here...they both snuggled together and then with me last night...I am sure Otis is at the Rainbow Bridge smiling....
