Next is my Jasper, he has been ID'd as probably being a purebred non-mitted Blue-point Ragdoll. I was doing some research on shelters in Ontario, Canada who have mandatory spay/neutering. I came across cats up for adoption at a shelter called: SD&G SPCA. I had no idea where that was, but I saw his pic and my heart fleetingly said "he's mine". I found out the shelter was in Cornwall, Ontario and DH was there that day for a conference and coming home the next day
. Can you say "fate". It was late at night, so I sent an e-mail to the shelter manager to make sure he was still there and yes he was (can you believe such a beauty has been up for adoption for a month and nobody adopted him, fate, I say, it was fate). She faxed me the adoption papers, got approved, DH brought him home to me the next day
Well Jasper has turned out to be a lover kitty. He just loves his girls, yup, even cranky Puddles.
. Poor boy must have been in a breeding cage all his life (he was estimated to be 5-6 years old), as he didn't know what a door or window was. He was scared of them
Jasper is about 9 years old now.
Jasper is a bit of a stoner kitty. He loves his fresh catnip. So in order to save the plants we have to protect them from him
