Help........

Hi there, I'm after some advise please.

I have a 6 month old beagle/collie his name is Kaiser. We have over walked him and he's now limping after resting. We knew nothing about over walking and now feel terribly guilty. Will this get better with time and obviously less exercise. We are so worried we may have caused him long term damage.

Sounds like you over did it. This is a guide for puppies.
A good rule of thumb is a ratio of five minutes exercise per month of age (up to twice a day) until the puppy is fully grown, i.e. 15 minutes (up to twice a day) when three months old, 20 minutes when four months old etc. Once they are fully grown, they can go out for much longer.

A day of rest should be enough to fix things. If he's still limping by Thursday, take him to the vet just in case.
