Hello , new here

Hi , I just want to give a quick introduction. I have been a lurker on this site for 6 weeks now. So I decided it was time to register.

I have a 3 month old mix puppy , I recieved him when he was 6 weeks old and had him for 6 weeks. His name is Hector and I am Mike.

Just wanted to say I have learned much from this site , at first I thought I knew alot about dogs but now obviously still have lots to learn. I chose to use clicker training which Hector seems to grasp pretty easy. His commands so far are Here , which he is great at indoors but a little ify outdoors. Sit and down both verbal and hand signs , again great indoors not so great outdoors. We are working on stay at the moment also.

Don't really know what else to put into this introduction except, I hope to share some expeirences that I have and to share in yours. And most importantly to keep learning from all of you. I have already surpassed what I knew with my first dog I had years ago , and Hector has greatly benifited too. Thanks alot everyone...must go now for Hector just had dinner and he needs to go out and chase whatever the wind brings through the yard.

Hello Mike and welcome! Actually, I think you have been here longer than I, lol!

Like you, I too learned a lot from reading here on this forum, and using some of the training ideas for just a few days have already shown promise in my dogs!

Good luck with Hector, and have fun!

I figured it might be fun if you can make some guesses as to which breeds he might be. I was told he was Lab/boxer/some sort of terrier.
