Red face Hello from Dubai, UAE

Hello,

My name is Khalid, I've been surfing the forum for a while now, and i have been enjoying it a lot. The community sounds very helpful and interesting. I have an adopted dog, well actually a stray which was in a very bad condition so i took her in. Her name is Ameera "princess in Arabic", I found her out by our farm in the desert, most strays here are Salukis and their fit for our harsh summers, She was different, She was around 5-6 months when i found her, I found her in spring so she hasn't experienced summer yet( our winter temps are between 10-28C and summers are well over 45+ even at night) I took her to the vet to check for a chip but she doesn't have any, so my guess she was abandoned as a puppy. She looks like a cream Samoyed but with a black nose and a full black Tongue. Shes a medium sized dog, smaller than a Sammy should be. shes now on her second heat and here are her pictures, I hope someone can shed light to what breed she is cause it really got me wondering. She's a perfect dog, just a little too hyper.

Hi Khalid & welcome! So great that you rescued this beautiful dog, I love her name too . I would imagine her coat would make her very hot indeed during your summer, hopefully she lives indoors with you & you have some air con?
This is a great forum, lots of good advice & a nice place to just talk about our dogs. I look forward to reading more about Ameera
