Hello from Dakota and Britt

Hello,
I know I joined a few days ago but I didn't stop to introduce myself. My name's Brittany but I go by Britt, and I have a 3 month old husky mix named Dakota. I also have some other dogs named Ally (a pit and dalamation mix), Teddy (a pomeranian), and Bailey (a chihuahua). They may be dogs of my grandparents and brother, but they're still family and babies to me. As a Navy vet, it's a bit hard for me to adjust to the civilian life again, but luckily Dakota keeps me on my toes and makes me laugh and I'm very happy to have him in my life. He was a gift from my husband (who is in the Army) and I must say he's the best gift I've been blessed with so far, until kids come along.
I hope to talk to some of you (on good terms of course) and that we can become packmates. I hope to hear from you soon and ya'll have a blessed day!

Welcome! I can understand the adjusting to the civilian world. I just left the coast guard after 8 years in and my husband is still in. I am sure Dakota keeps you busy if he is anything like mine was at that age (he's 7 months now).
