Hello from Canada and mister Bossco!

Hello everyone, I'm excited to be here!

I recently (Sunday, May 25) adopted a 5 year old American Bulldog named Bossco! He is my first dog so I wanted to become part of a community to try to be the best owner that I can for him. So far I feel like I really lucked out. Bossco is incredibly friendly and quite well trained and he is just a pleasure to have around.

I also have a 6 year old cat named Zorro who is doing surprisingly well considering his very scaredy-cat nature.. he's curious about what's going on where I have Bossco 'quarantined', but when I attempted to get them close together he got quite scared! It'll all come in due time.

In the meantime, I'm really enjoying being a dog owner!! After 24 years I finally have my own dog!!

Hi & welcome!! Bossco & Zorro are super cute I have 2 cats, one of which loves to curl up for a sleep with my dog. We had the cats first, but because Betsy is was so uninterested in them, they all got used to each other quite quickly. I suggest giving Bossco a treat whenever Zorro is in the room, he will soon associate Zorro with good, positive things. If Bossco does try to chase, don't shout 'no' or 'stop', this will just get him more excited, like it's a game. Distraction is more effective. I look forward to reading more about your lovely pets
