Call me Orca.

I have one dog, named Lucky. He's a twelve-year-old terrier cross who still tries to act like a puppy but usually knows how to behave. We adopted him from the local humane society in 1998, which happened to be the day before he would have been euthanized as nobody wanted him. He really is a lucky dog; he's had a few near-death experiences:

1) A couple days after we first got him he almost drowned. That's how we learned he does NOT like water, and doesn't know how to swim.
2) Almost been hit by a truck
3) Almost been hit by cars
4) Nearly choked to death on a piece of sweet'n'sour rib (he passed out and then my dad gave him the Heimlich)

Some pictures!

Dad...?

DADDY DON'T LEAVE ME.

He... tricked me...

Dad. :'(

*whine whine*

HOLY CRAP!

As of August 2008, Lucky is no longer afraid of water. He dragged the boat he was tied to away from the beach as he tried to swim to my parents as they rode away on another boat. When that boat came back he eagerly went on, and didn't realize that my parents got off. As the boat drove away, he whined and whined to be with my parents. So then a close friend rode her jet ski to the boat, and Lucky got to "drive" the jet ski back to shore. He was in his glory. Later he "surfed" on a boogie board, and also swam around without his lifejacket. So ended his hydrophobia. =)

This past August.
