Greetings (Ambiguous I Know)

Hello Everyone,
Avid dog owner, in between dogs right now and scouring forums for some dog time, the last one was kind of lame so I'll I'm trying this one. I've had 36 years of German Shepherds and a Wolf Hybrid, so have a lot of experience but also love hearing new techniques in training and discussions on Dog Behaviour.
Will post pics as the next one arrives.

Welcome to the forum.

I searched a couple different forums as well before I found this one and can definitely say this one is the best.

Cant wait for pictures!

Thanks for the welcomes, and the lame test is pretty easy I just can't be bothered wasting my time with ignorant narrow minded people who are always right, and want to argue. There are many ways to train a dog, and as long as no one or dog is getting hurt or in jeopardy then I don't see a problem. For example I've used slip collars (I refuse to call them choke collars because I use them properly, and don't choke with them) for years, and haven't injured any dogs with them, if you prefer a Haltie or a harness and it works for you, great, but I'm not a dog abuser, or more importantly "WRONG" LOL.
I have trained lots of dogs, and know loads of ways to get a dog to sit, that being said, you may know a better way or an equally good but different way, and by sharing we all get better. As my Wolf would have barked, "There's more then one way to skin a cat" LOL Just kidding!!!!!!
But seriously I'm just here to look at some dog pics, and keep up to date with techniques. Hopefully something more interesting then feeding 5 lbs of treats to a dog.

Hi! I also read posts at a lot of other sites while researching an issue i was having. This is the only one I joined....in fact it is the only forum I belong to, period.

Even though I may not ALWAYS be right...when I am and choose to make a stand, I like to hold my ground.

I'm feeling safe here so I'm going to confess, I joined a "Bunny" forum the other day. Someone was kind enough to dump a rabbit on my block, and I live on a very busy street with dogs ( mostly High Prey dogs) and I had visions of a flat bunny or dog or both, and since I'm dogless and the Animal whisperer of the block I was nominated to catch it. Now I am a in the closet bunny owner LOL.

AmandaNola I have to tell you if I were into little dogs I'd have a Dachshun or a MinPin, specifically for the look in your avatar.

Seebrown, apparantly more important then you passing the lame test, I have passed your forums test as I have acted the same way here and have not got 14 emails highlighting that my advice was wrong or that I have violated some ToS. I will admit it was refreshing responding truthfully to 3 of the dumbest post I've ever read truthfully to get booted.
AmandaB should your dog be wandering around underground like that without a Spelunking helmet on LOL.
