First ever rescue!

Hi everyone!

About 2 weeks ago I adopted my first ever rescue doggy! My previous dog sadly passed away in December at the age of 12 and after much grieving and lots of research I decided to adopt and not get a puppy.

My new addition is called Khaleesi. She is about 7/8 months old and looks to be a cross between a Dachshund and a JR. She was very timid when I got her but quickly came out of her shell and now behaves like a little queen. Hehehehe.

Found her first holes in the garden yesterday and she thanked her Gran for welcoming her into her home by chewing up her favourite pair of boots. Also almost electrocuted herself by chewing on the heater cord.

She loves to cuddle though and makes these little grunts/growls when happy.

Think it's quite a change from my previous doggy. I was 15 when I got her so we grew up together and she never chewed on anything and was very well behaved. Hehehehe having a younger doggy is a challenge!!!

Look forward to reading the threads and getting to know everyone on here as well as their furkids!

Much love
xx

She's SOOOO funny! When I get home from work and we go outside to go potty she runs around me in circles, gets very impressed with herself and her athletic ability hehehe

Hahahaha she has that face, I know I just ate your boots but you can't get mad at this face can you????

We're starting doggy classes on Saturday. Apparently Daxie's are extremely stubborn so training is essential. Looking forward to it, my previous doggy would do anything for a treat so she was super easy to train.

Here's anm album of photo's...can't seem to insert any yet -_-
