City Dog Lover meets Country Dog Lover!

First, let me say Hi and I am glad to be apart of a group that supports dog lovers! I have always been an animal lover, even wanted to be a vet for the first 16 years of my life, until I realized I couldn't hurt any animal working with it, so I'm a Nurse (lot easier to be mean to people...)

Orignally from a large city home and married a true country boy who found the hidden coutry girl inside of me. I never pictured myself being able to proudly drive a 1977 Powder Blue Pick Up to work everyday. I will say I have done pretty adjusting to the country life, I can't say that much for my sweet momma's girl, Gramma, my 14 year old poodle. As it stand, we have 5 very different dogs living with us on our dream farm next to the lake We have:

Gramma-my dearest friend and lap warmer (Mini Poodle)
Roper- a goofy momma's boy that will do anything for someone to throw his ball (Aust. Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler)
Pig- (female) a to smart for her own good dog that is her daddy's shadow (Aust. Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler)
Miss Weine- A doll baby that might be a bit weird adopted from our local shelter (seized from puppy mill) (Dachshund)
Bart- A silly bug eyed puppy adopted from shelter (small/medium mix, haha your guess is good as anyones)

I didn't count our 'Oh-No' litter that Piggie blessed us recently with, 6, fathered by Roper (Note: never again trust redneck that says dog is 'spaded'), currently 3 weeks old.

Beside our wonderful dogs we have 4 chickens, 2 horses, 2 milk cows and 2 pet goat.

Pictures of our dogs can be found on my 'Dogs' Tab. Hope to learn and grow from/with this group!
