Another newbie coming through!

What's up everybody?

I'm new here, and I'm not a dog owner yet (or anymore; I was a few months ago before I moved). I'm currently looking for a new friend to live with, and I've registered here to grab as much free advice as possible. Hoping to get to know some of you & your loyal pals better!

See you around.

I haven't decided on that yet. I'm still looking for an apartment and I need to make sure that I get a dog that won't suffer in small apartment, or in SoCal's weather. I can't stand seeing people here with Huskies. Yes, they tolerate the heat, but they don't like it - and it gets to around 110 in summer here.

Still doing my research, and it will also depend on what they have in shelters here, but any suggestions are very welcome!
@ZekeandTara, it is fun!

Hi & welcome, looks like you're going about the search the right way, putting the dogs needs above your own also, great that you're looking at rescue, I've only ever had rescue dogs.
