These puppies seem to have a 'quick temper' ...and are a bit slower and stopping when getting bit or hearing their sibling yelp. I know it's how they learn some of their bite inhibition...but again, they seem a little slow on the uptake. But, I think things would be a lot worse without you there to continue with the teaching...in letting them know it's not ok to bite onto people.
I was sure happy that AU caught on Very fast that he couldn't clamp down on my fingers/hand...he had large sharp puppy teeth that hurt even when he wasn't really putting pressure into it.
I'm glad to hear that Luna found a home. Also glad your shelter is vetting potential owners so well for the puppies...refusing to just adopt them out to anyone.
Thanks for the videos...I guess if one is going to have chaos in their house, it might as well be the puppy kind...they are cute!
Yes, for sure quite a few dynamics that can make a litter one way or the other. Your observations are spot on! They are quite short tempered and yes catch on so slowly, that's not just with biting either, it's with everything. One of the hardest litters I have had as far as them learning, they are hard to break of things.
Luna's family is awesome! They are so excited to meet her too. Yes my rescue for sure vets their adopters well and only adopt to those who are right for the puppy/dog.
