Happy 3 Weeks Old! Another week of growth for these little darlings, and so much is happening! They are able to see and hear better, all are walking well, and are waking for short play sessions throughout the day now. Due to all the white, there was worry about some of them potentially being deaf, but thankfully all can hear well. Their personalities are coming through as well, and what I can see so far is listed on each photo. Three of the pups have stubby legs, with a possible fourth, Ghost, Magic, and Jack all have short legs like their dad, and Jack makes me laugh because he has his dad's short legs with his mom's big head and jowls 😂

Controlling their feeding times has worked great, and for the most part they are back to having normal poop which I couldn't be happier about as they actually stay clean for the most part. Zelda is naturally less interested, no longer enjoying feeding them now that they have teeth. Mash starts soon, and in about a week Zelda will begin sleeping away from them at night, she gives me the saddest face every night when I have to get her out of her crate to go in with them, she is more than ready to have her own space for sleeping, lol.

They got their first crate introduced yesterday, and have been doing great with their sound and item introduction. They have been hearing, vacuum, hair dryer, fireworks, thunder, traffic sounds, different kinds of music, trash bags being opened, things being dropped on the floor, and chairs being dragged across the floor, just to name a few of the sounds they hear daily. They are also exploring a little play mat setup with bells, and different textured hanging toys for them to play with, and they are also enjoying interesting textures such as bubble wrap, metal pans, and a food bag to name a few. They have also been starting to venture out into the kitchen, and I have been taking them out into other rooms in the house for a few minutes as a group, along with individually carrying them around the house. They are brave and adventurous pups! They are the sweetest already, wagging their tails at the sound of voices and always ready to climb into a lap!

Zelda

Bella, 4.5lbs. Quiet and gentle girl. Biggest pup, going to be closer to mom's size I am thinking.

Candy, 4.3lbs. Feisty and vocal, she is always barking and growling to herself, there is too much feisty for her little body to contain!

Casper, 4.3lbs. Playful, but lower energy

Ghost, 3.11lbs. Very inquisitive, always wanting to know what everything is and exploring all around. He can be feisty, but seems to have a more passive temperament.

Jack, 4lbs. Cannot love this boy more, he's feisty, loves to talk and play! Very adventurous too, leading the charge into all the new things.

Magic, 3.7lbs. Very playful and silly, she is one who always makes me laugh

Sabrina, 3.12lbs. Gentle, kind little girl. She has the sweetest face I think, just too cute for words!

Spooky, 4.1lbs. Much more gentle as well, she sleeps a lot and loves to be held.

Taffy, 3.6lbs. This girl is the smallest, but isn't going to take anyone's stuff, lol. She stands up for herself, but is also such a little darling and loves to snuggle and be held. She's going to be smaller like her dad I feel. Her nickname is "Tiny Toofy".

Love the photo of Zelda asleep with the toy in her mouth...lol. AU often falls asleep with toys in his mouth...I think it's cute when dogs to that.

The puppies are sure growing fast! I still think I like Candy's looks the best...something about that one eye looking all 'made up' and the other one not. Someone with OCD...it would probably drive them nuts though...lol. My sister would probably be wanting to drag out the eye shadow/liner to match things up.
But the ones that have what look more like a black eye...I don't think that would bother her so much.

Btw, AU absolutely loves the videos... he will sit, or stand with his chin on my computer chair totally fascinated by the puppies and their sounds. He does that with all dog videos though...totally gets into watching them... I love it..he's so cute and sometimes gets excited and will bark at the dogs on the monitor. With the puppies, he stands and wags his tail.

It really is adorable, first dog I have ever had who did that!

They are, it's crazy! They act a week older than they are because they get around so well. The changing basket has gone away already because they are happy to play in the kitchen while I change their area, so crazy. They are going to be grown and gone before you know it!

Aw, that's so sweet! Love that he loves the videos too.

Their first mash was a success, took to it instantly and are loving it! The changing bucket has left the picture as they are more than happy to explore around the kitchen while I change everything out. They have play sessions throughout the day now, and are more than able to keep up with momma when she's moving around. They got their first water dish introduced, and they love sleeping in their crate. I swear they need to slow down, they are growing up so fast!

Some random photos from this morning. The pups spent their first night without her successfully, while earlier than I normally start having them sleep without her at night, she was telling me she was clearly done with it, running into her crate to hide when she knew it was time to go in with them for the night and me literally having to drag her, lol. They slept well, and she was overjoyed to finally be able to sleep by herself in her crate. They are growing so fast! Still very small babies though, easily held in arms. They love to be cuddled and all follow me around wagging their tails and asking for pets. So many feisty little personalities, they are going to be very strong willed dogs, some with a lot of energy, others less. It's interesting to see as some take on more of the JRT and others more of the mastiff!

Sweet Sabrina

Jack, or Short Stuff as I like to call him, lol

Zelda loves to randomly come up to me while I am working and lay her head on my lap and look at me like this, such a sweet girl!
Got Zelda a new toy which came in the mail yesterday. She was sitting nearby while I got it out of the packaging, and didn't stop wiggling for a good 20mins after I gave it to her, and she has yet to put it down for more than a few minutes since. She was laying on her bed in the living room, too tired to really chew on it, but too excited to sleep, so she would chew on it for a second, lay her head on top of it, start to go to sleep, then start wiggling like crazy again and go back to chewing 😂 This girl loves her toys!

Happy 4 Weeks Old! These babies are just the best for their photos, sitting so still the whole time, they really are the best in every way though, super easy non problematic pups who are just a complete joy, which is sweet relief after that last litter, lol. How we are already to the four week mark, I have no idea, but time sure seems to be flying with these guys! In just two weeks time roughly they will be weaned, and Zelda's mom duties will be over, which she will be more than happy about. Everyone is doing amazing, growing and happy as can be, they are playing for longer each day, and are just the sweetest babies, they take after their mom and her loving nature. They will get their first bath this week, explore outside for the first time, begin some leash work, and begin working on sit and eye contact, though they are already picking up on this in a hurry. So in love with each of these sweet angels!

Bella, 6.5lbs

Candy, 5.11lbs

Casper, 6.3lbs

Ghost, 5.5lbs

Jack, 5.8lbs

Magic, 4.13lbs

Sabrina, 5.2lbs

Spooky, 5.13lbs

Taffy, 4.13lbs
