Labs with funny nicknames

I saw a friend the other day, he told me they adopted 2 black lab puppies from the same litter about a month ago.

One of the puppies is really laid back, and still has some puppy fat on him...so he was nicknamed....

'Flab'

The other pup, and my friend shook his head and laughed....and said, that, that puppy N...e...v...e...r....slowed down...high energy, and into everything.

They nicknamed him.....

'Meth Lab'.



The pups, of course have real names but the nicknames had me laughing.

Hahaha, thanks for sharing! Super cute. "Flab" would accurately describe a Lab we had when I was super young. He was the sweetest thing, but looked like a black propane tank on four legs. Bless his heart. :P

What was funny with the Flab nick name...was the way he said it....it sounded almost like 'full lab' - stressed the F a little...making it a pun on flab...full belly - purebred -full lab - fat lab....kind of thing. : )

Meth Lab was a good one, given the pup's 'high' energy.

I enjoy clever nicknames and names.
I had a dog named Hey You once,
I have one called HaHa now,
and we once had a cat called 'Gonner' Dad told us kids if he ever found the cat in the house it would be a 'gonner' - he would get rid of it. (of course, the cat was in the house quite often....while dad was gone...lol I'm pretty sure, dad knew we had it in the house, but he knew it was being supervised and thus not climbing on the table or kitchen counters...etc.

When my mom had Athena she was SO spoiled when it came to food. she got treats alllll day long and got fed for a 75-80lb dog, which she was, but because she was overweight. Don't get me wrong we all love her very much but because of her weight we used to call her chunky monkey, big girl, fat girl, big momma, wiggle worm, slinky, rolie polie, chunky butt, barrel roll. To this day my step dad asks "how's my fat girl doing" despite her weight loss, her little nicknames just stuck and she actually responds to them xD lately I've been calling her grandma or old lady when she's acting like one, or piggy 'cause she moans and grunts a lot for no reason lol

When Nala has a ton of energy I call her psychopath, demon dog or crazy girl
