Training my dog 3 year old dog to sleep alone

My dog does not like to be left alone if i switch rooms she comes with me. She isnt so bad being left out alone while we are gone during the day. If she had her way she would be sleeping in the bed between me and my husband but shes too big and to energetic and wake you up at crazy hours to play fetch. If we even sit near each other without her she will lay across both of us just to be apart of anything. She doesnt like being left out. We put her in her kennel at night in our room. I want her to be able to be left out to roam when she wants at night without waking us up or crying at the door. Last time she slept in a room alone she threw up and pooped everywhere. any ideas on how to make it work?

We set patterns that the dogs follow, change the pattern change the behavior. She has low self confidence and is way to dependent on her humans. I suggest moving her kennel out of your room and play enya or similar music in the room you put her. If she fusses go to her one time and tell her that is enough. Explain that she has to learn to be on her own and as soon as she is she will be allowed to sleep loose. Put a fan in your room or some other white noise to cut out her fussing if she continues. I would also take time daily to play with her with a flirt pole. I would also tie a toy to paracord on a tree limb. This give them close to the same affect as the pole but they can play when they choose. This helps build confidence especially when you play with and whoop rah when they catch it etc..
