We cooled our old dog like that when the kids were little and we went to the cottage in the Summer. It was a bit of a walk to the water so we needed to find a way to keep her cool when we rested inside the cottage. Your dog will soon figure out how great that is and start enjoying it.
yeah....... nooooo... This particular dog doesn't like that kind of touch except on his own terms. If he comes to us --which he does frequently -- then I can handle him any way I want. If *I* come to *him* however, he's likely to feel threatened by it.
Bath time is no problem. I can put him in bath whenever I want and he never protests. Maybe I can use that to my advantage.
