Unhappy My 6 month old GSD suddenly refuses to walk on a leash.

I got my female spayed on tuesday, when I took her home she really wanted to go for a walk, wednesday she was fine also for walking, thursday as well and suddenly friday comes and she refuses to walk on the leash, we can get to the driveway and she absolutely refuses to move. She doesn't walk back to the house, she just sits there and refuses to move. It's saturday now and I got her to walk in the morning, but she tries to sit there and I know its wrong to pull her, but it successfully got her around the block, and tonight I cant get her to move off the driveway. We don't have a backyard so I have to take her to the nearest grass.

Is there a reason why she is going this? I never had a dog do that before. Funny though she has no problem following me off leash tonight when she got the collar off. My vet said no off leash activity or running for 2 weeks, So I have no idea what to do now.

Maybe her collar is a bit too tight? That's the only thing I can think of on the spot. Has anything else changed about her routine that might contribute to it, other than her getting spayed?
She might also just be tired and in pain from the surgery.

Unhappy oh, dear.

What's the incision look like?
Is she wearing a cone-collar / Elizabethan, so she CANNOT mess with the stitches or lick it?

It should be clean, dry, & pink - not red, not weeping fluid.
A few drops of CLEAR straw-yellow [plasma] in the 1st few days are normal, but it's Sunday - even that should be over, it's been 5 days.

If it's puffy / swollen or leaking, go straight to the vet - E-R or not, she needs to be seen now.
Infections are dangerous in any incision, but an intra-abdominal wound is nothing to joke about.

=================

If her incision is clean, dry, & healing, it's something else.
What collar do U use? -- prongs, choke-chains or infinite-slip nylon tubes, or other aversive collars, cause pain or discomfort, & the dog associates the pain with going for walks.

Is she shy?
shy dogs resist leaving familiar areas - U need to do it step by step, with lots of happy experiences & no force.

Please don't leave her off-leash! - If she ruptures her incision, she can die or be seriously injured. She must be on-leash for her own safety, for at least 10-days to 14.
She especially can't be allowed to JUMP - onto, off of, or at!

Any other details? - let us know how she gets on, please.

When we did spay and neuter our dogs they were kept quiet for the two weeks per vets orders, only allowed out to go potty... no long walks around the block, no running etc she may still be in pain, and when you thought she wanted to go for a walk she may have just felt uncomfortable, and anxious...make sure the incision is clean and no oozing also check the stitches to make sure the incision is still closed and healing properly!!
