How to make my pup respond more?

I got my pup, Eddie, yesterday and he's been a little quiet. I play with him when I can but my school work has stopped me from playing with Eddie. Right now, he is outside in our deck and sorta moping around. Any ideas to perk him up a little?

Pups sleep a lot-like a lot! He may just be pooped out.

As for keeping him entertained-toys, especially chewing toys are great-kongs stuffed for slow eating (KONG Pet Toys - Legendary Strength, Quality, and Performance) etc are good. Also some pups love watching TV.

(You could always study laying on the ground and become a live puppy toy)
