So I've had my pup since Monday and wanted to know on how I can approach on it learning basic things such as sitting down. What's a good way to start?

are you in the US? any petco or petsmart will carry them...tho they will be the loud box type ones..

.you may have to wrap them in masking tape or wrap them in a sock to quiet them a bit if your dog is shy to the noise. They are very inexpensive...like $2

if your in a bind I have heard of people using tiny LED flashlights, or ball point pens as the marker...any sharp crisp sound or bright light flash will work...

You can also just say "yes" or "good" (or whatever) and it will work, just works 3x faster with the clicker.

i've used the lids off of snapple bottles before, they make a softer click than this type of clicker, which can be better anyway.

Well holy moly ravioli I just found my clicker! LOL the top of my coffee bottle! I think the starbucks coffee lids do the same thing. Haven't even been to petsmart in ages so haven't gotten a clicker, thanks for the amazing idea!!!!!
