My other dog did this when he was a puppy but as long as I took him out to pee first he didnít pee when he saw people. Is there anything else I can do? I know he will grow out of it ( hopefully). He doesnít do this at home with me or my other dogs, just when we are at work. Any ideas would be great, I wanna socialize him but he pees a lot and it kinda hard. Scared he will pee in someone lol thanks!
He could just be SO excited to be at work seeing all the different animals and people that he isn't used to. He could just really love meeting new people and animals! Too, I believe a dogs energy is what the human around them is. For instance, if someone with negative energy comes around, the dog may either be scared or growl. If the person is highly happy and lots of energy, the dog may jump for joy and lick!!! So it could literally be that everyone is so happy to see your dog, and vice versa. You could maybe ask people who greet him to not greet him right away. Pay no attention until he's calm and them greet him. My puppy did this and still does with new people who visit and try to pet her almost immediately after coming in the door, but with the suggestions I just gave you, this has helped her stop peeing inside.
Hope this helps!
