Dog whining after move.

I have a 3.5 year old rotty/hound mix. He is a well behaved and loveable dog. We just moved into our own house 2 weeks ago and he has had extreme separation anxiety since then. The first week he would just walk around the house crying for no apparent reason. He doesn't do that anymore but if i leave his sight he will start crying. It makes using the bathroom feel like an act of betrayal.

Since he was a pup he has always had dog friends (my parent's dogs), so I'm just assuming he's lonely. I try to spend as much time with him as possible, but with work and generally being busy since the move, I feel like I don't get enough quality time with him.

I was hoping for some insight. Maybe someone else has experienced this. How long did it take for them to adjust to the move? Thank you in advance.
