Dog peeing in house but only when someone is home
So I have an approximately 10 year old rescue dog who I've had for about 8 years. He came to our family fully potty trained but recently has started peering in the house, but oddly only if someone is home with him. He's been checked by vet and no health problems that seem to be the cause. It's getting pretty frustrating because for one thing he seems to be able to hold it just fine when I at work as far as I can tell. And secondly because I'll let him go out and he'll pee and then 10 minutes after he gets back inside he'll pee on the floor again. He's also never really had a good "tell" that he needs to pre, but until this started it wasn't a problem...he just peed whenever we let him out.
Nothing really has changed in his life or routine. Last change was probably about 3 years ago when we moved but this behavior just started a few months ago. Other than that I can't really think of anything that had changed in his life.
Im assuming it's a behavioral issue. Any thoughts/suggestions/ideas about what to do? Posted via Mobile Device
