bad dog behavior + biting

I have 2 years old mix breed dog. The problem is that he never listens to me and do what he wants. When I open the yard door to get my car out he goes outside to the gardens and starts sniffing around. Even if I call him he does not want to come home. I tried with dog treats but still he comes home after 5-10 minits of calling him.
I tried to tie him with a leash so he can`t go out and stay in the yard for a minute or 2, but he gets realy angry at me. When let him go I have the feeling he is going to bite me. this morning he was so mad that he attacked a carton box.
he already bite me once when I tried to get him inside the yard.
I try to train him, but he only do commands because I give him treats.
when I walk in the backyard he always bites me feet and demands attention. "NO" do not work.
I`m desperate. I read so many articles on how to train dogs, on bad behaving dogs and I try to follow it, but nothing works. I had a lot of dogs through the years but never one like this.

It sounds like your dog has realized he can pretty much do as he pleases. Most dogs either realize this or it is taught out of them when they are a puppy. This creates a problem because now that he is 2 years old he much bigger and harder to control. You need to above all be consistent, no matter time or place. You are the one who sets the rules. If you ask him to sit he needs to sit whether or not he wants to. When my dog went through this stage it took me 40 minutes to get him to hold a 10 second stay. He can now hold a 15 minute stay with high distractions without me in sight.

Then I suggest teaching your dog these commands. For example unless he dog knows what ?no? means yelling it at him will do nothing. Use treats to teach him in a low distraction environment then slowly work your way up to high distractions. Once he is solid on commands you can phase out treats. I suggest teaching him a word for ?that?s not what I asked? or just ?no?. To him it needs to mean he doesn?t get the treat and when you say no he needs to stop everything and wait for another command.
