Hello, I have a 5yr old male westie. He has always been highly sociable and interactive. He had always slept in his bed with no problems. For the last 2 days he has sat in the garden uninterested in anything. He has even sat in the rain under the tree (in the past he has hated the rain!).
Last night he clawed at our bed and would not stop. He wanted to be back out in the garden. He spent the whole night in the garden. Today he continues in the same manner, totally insular and lacking of engagement. This is totally out of character. He is eating ok and bathroom visits are fine. No visible physical abnormalities. All very weird..........Has anybody gone through this experience with their dog / westie? Many thanks.
