Weepy eyes- try ACV, or just call a vet?

Shamas has developed weepy eyes. I can't say as I'm surprised, it's been pouring rain the last 2 weeks, and he's probably gotten something in them. It's always worse after we come in from a walk. Plus, we were using the Gentle Leader for two weeks, and it started after using that( it rode up into his eyes no matter how many times I adjusted it)

He doesn't seem infected- no redness, clear eyes, responsive, etc. More like his body is trying to clear toxins

I was wondering if it's worth using a saline solution, or apple cider vinager to wash his eyes for a day or two, before spending money on a vet....He's vaccinated against kennel cough, so it shouldn't be that

anything else he could have from the shelter that has a 3 week incubation?

I would call the vet, it's not going to cost you anything to ask them what you should do!!
