Vet can't help maybe you guys xan

Hello im new to the forum. I have owned many dogs mosly terriers all rescue dogs. Have never had an issue like this. So his name is buddy i reacued him from a very bad home.iv had him for 5 years now. When i got him i took him to vet to be checked over and get shots they said he was ok besides needing to gain weight a month later he is so sick he cant eat drink or get up, take him in find out he has lyme disease the put him on some stuff and he got better. No problems since. Now he has these puss filled cyst or pimples on his face top of head 2 of his paws and couple on his legs and side of his face they have since scabed over but he still digs at them. He itches so bad and keeps licking. This all started when he came in contact with my wifes parents dog he had mange they said it cant be passed from dog to dog. But a few days later buddy started to itch really bad so we took him to vet and they sayed he had mange and even vet said very unlikely he got it from other dog just wierd he was perfecly healthy never itched or had issues. Now even after treatment he has been itching and now has these cyst pimple things vet says its from dirty food dish no its not i wash both is bowls every other day and they are real stainless steel. Changed his food did think that would work because he has eaten this food and never had an issue. Bathed with medicated soap helps for a day. So the vets harmful drugs havnt done a thing so i have been giving him a normal bath and using a natrual conditioner i made my self. Then i rub him with olive oil then i put aloe on the pimples if its fungal aloe will help. Then i mix up 1% of food grade hydrogen peroxide and spray on big cyst on his leg it has gone down. His paws have not changed some times puss come out between his nails. And suggestions for his paws. And any suggestions on what this might be and what els i can do to get ride of it. I feel bad for buddy u can tell he is getting tired of itching.

Have him see a dermatologist, they can culture it if it hasn't already been. They specialize in skin issues more than regular vets.
Lyme does strange things do the immune system even years later. My old horse and my human friend both have extra sensitive immune systems and now have allergic reactions to everything after having chronic Lyme for years. It affects the whole body systemically.
Vets say cats and dogs can't catch colds from each other or transmit viruses to or from humans either. I don't believe it seeing as my indoor only cats have seemed to have colds the same time I and my dog do many time.
