Angry Urgent health issue

My 5 year old lab mix has been seen by 2 vets. 1st cbc panel showed elevated Hcb level but nothing else. She has had fever, swelling on one side of her abdomen, and joint pain & swelling, first one back ankle, which has gone down, and now both front ankles. 2nd vet more extensive cbc's shows all normal levels, organ functions normal, urine sample normal, parasitic born diseases negative. She has been on antibiotic, steroids, and pain meds for one week. No or low fever during day, fever spikes at night. She's being given immune support as well. Normal food is Blue wet & dry dog food as well as raw foods. She is overall healthy & active other, than this Situation. She is in pain, and has a hard time getting up, just wants to lay around all day. Has anyone heard about anything even remotely close to this? We are desperate. Thanks so much.

When you don't have answers for what's going on, it has to be scary and very frustrating. You said that you've been to two vets. Is at least one of them a specialist? If not, I'd find a specialist and make an appointment and have all the information from any previous tests. I'm not sure what type of vet specialist would be best for her symptoms but you can call a vet hospital and ask them, or ask your own vet for recommendations.
