Two nail questions

I have a Beagle/Terrier mix. 1 year old female.

Question #1

She squirmed and I ended up cutting into the quick on her dewclaw while trimming her nails today. Is there anything (other than cleaning the blood off and putting antibiotic cream on it) I should do? She keeps licking and chewing it.

Question #2

I'm not sure exactly when it happened but it was sometime within the 3 days since I last checked her nails. One of her nails is almost completely black. All the other ones (besides the accident with the one dewclaw I mentioned earlier) are fine and they don't have black on them. It's too cold to walk so all she's been exposed to outside is snow and mud. Our yard has some fences around parts, some logs and sticks lying around from storms and a few wood/concrete areas. The house doesn't have anything out of the ordinary besides heat vents in the floor. Her crate floor is plastic. Sorry for the rambling trying to include any info that seems noteworthy. The claw that's black seems to be hurting her a bit (more sensitive when I touch it than usual, which isn't the case for the others). I don't remember any specific time within the past few days where she got hurt that I know of and none of my family does either. Only wildlife this time of year is a family of stray cats and the very occasional deer that get into the yard. Should I take her to the vet to get it looked at?

For question 2:

Sounds like she's bruised the nail bed, I'm not sure what would be normal for a dog but I'd take her to the vet if the pain worsened or seems severe. Otherwise I'd leave it and not be surprised if it fell off in a week or so (painless as long as it doesn't catch, you can keep that nail especially short to reduce the risk of it catching) and a new one grew.
