Is their a service to transport deceased dog for necropsy?

I called my vet today about my dog who I had put to sleep a couple of days ago because he had a seizure and the vet said he had a brain tumor. I want to get a necropsy but my vet who has my deceased dog said if I get a necropsy I would have to come to his animal hospital where my dog was put to sleep and transport him to the state lab for the necropsy. I don't really want to come get him and take him to the state lab. Is their some kind of service I could get who would pickup and transport my dog for me? What kind of transport service could I get? The lab is only about 10-15 miles away.

I'm sorry about your dog.

I know that here they will transport. Usually the vet will, but you could also check with a pet mortuary. Ask at different vet offices if they know of anyway to do that.
