Swollen Red Gums on my Dog

Hi everyone, my dog has swollen red gums on only the left side of her mouth. it has been like this for a few days now and hasnít gone away. She has an appt at the vet in 4 days but iím not sure if i should wait that long? It doesnít seem to be bothering her but she does lick it a lot. Has anyone seen this before/ have any ideas on what it could be? Anything would be a great help! Thank you in advance

She may well be more uncomfortable than you think. Dogs mask pain and discomfort until they are overwhelmed by it. I would not wait four days, to get her to the Vet. There are so many possible things that could be causing it, bad tooth, infection in her gums, Vet will need to diagnose and develop a treatment plan.
