Sensitive stomach?

We had a scare on nye with chocolate. Which, based on everything i read, was nowhere near enough to harm her but she kept getting sick so we brought her to the er anyway.

It seems though that around once a week she gets sick. After nye she got sick again on jan 28th middle of the day when i wasnt home. She threw up some food in her crate. Then again on feb 6th in the morning, yellowish bile and again in the afternoon but this time was food. She again got sick in her crate while i was at work on feb 8th. Since i got her she throws up 2x a month or so. I can't figure out why. She had bloodwork at the emergency vet on jan 1st and it was all normal. Shes up to date on vaccines, no worms, and continues to eat drink play normally. Her poops are sometimes soft but normal mostly. She goes 2-3x a day and she is months.

My vet thinks maybe fromm isnt agreeing with her. She has also developed dandruff. Doesnt seem to itchy though. So i want to change her food to see if thats the case but to what? She recommends purino pro plan sensitive digestion. But isnt that a lower quality food? I dont want to do grain free with the recent investigation into heart problems so what do you guys think? What would you try?

The first 4 ingredients in purina pro plan sensitive digestion/skin is salmon, barley, ground rice, canola meal.

No corn is listed anywhere.

My advice would be to get her away from 'processed' foods, feed her only fresh, and small quantities multiple times per day. We had similar problems with ours, but the change to all fresh foods, and smaller quantities more often solved the problem for us, at least.
