Seizures

Our little Oliver is a 3-year-old Chihuahua. On May 24 of this year he had a seizure for the first time (that we know of) it was the most horrifying thing. We didn't know what it was until later. We now think that he has suffered with psychomotor seizures occasionally for up to a year. Well after his first it was about 2 weeks when he had the second and the third was within a few hours. He has had 9 total as of this post with the last 3 being within 24 hours. We know we need to get him into the vet and we will, unfortunately money is issue. We have spoken to a number of people including a veterinarian and all agree that we must have tests run to see it the cause can be determined. Has anyone experienced this? Do we need to think about saying goodbye to our sweet sweet baby boy? I hate to think of that but we don't want him to suffer. We want him to be happy with a good quality of life. We love our (fur) babies so very much. Help please.

There are medications for seizures but the Vet will have to prescribe them. It is not necessarily a death sentence by any means. Sometimes they never do find out what is causing them but they have to see the Vet and right away if he is having them that close together.
