Is that a tick further up your dog's side?

The redness looks like a bite or something, only a vet could tell for sure. I would get it checked out by a vet if there is a possibility of a tick bite.

No, that is just a dark spot on his nipple. He did have a tick, but on another part of his belly. Are you thinking there is a tick somewhere else I'm not finding that could be causing it?

I'd also suggest having a vet look at it - there are so many things that can cause rashes/redness and they'd be better at ruling certain things out.

It looks bumpy, is there hair loss and/or is it itchy? Could be ringworm.

I was just thinking that ticks can carry some things that show up as rashes, if so the sooner found the better. It's probably nothing but I'd still get it checked.

Yes, he has an appointment tomorrow, so hopefully it's nothing. It is just too hard or me to wait it out to see if it clears up on its own.

Definitely go to a vet. We cannot diagnose or give medical advice here.
