Is this ringworm?

This is a discussion on Is this ringworm? within the Dog Health forums, part of the Keeping and Caring for Dogs category; It's actually on me...but I thought other animal people would know better. I'm pretty sure it is but wanted some other opinions. :-/...

I am a pediatric nurse and see a LOT of ring worm. Looks like it to me. The other option is numular eczema, but not likely if you have no history of eczema.

Looks like the ones I had as a kid, when you choose a treatment consider how often you are willing to apply it and whether it is a treatment that is good against that type of organism. Personally, I'm lazy so I do a once a day cream, some of them are 3 times a day.

I would cover it and set the washing machine to hot for a week.

Do be careful about covering it for too long, though. I learned the hard way that it needs to breathe or it will grow.
