Raw paw pads

My jacket Russell loves to chase the kids around the pool while they swim but he keeps running the paws on his feet raw. I have tried to keep him inside and he cries and is absolutely heart broken if he can't play. I tried ordering him shows but he won't keep them on. I clean his feet and put a paint on plastic plaster on which helps the grass pricking it or from getting dirty... but we have just started spring and he is already limping... please help... I don't know what else to do.

You could find something to wrap around his shoes to keep them on

Just a suggestion

They make a cream that is called Tender Foot I use it on my huskies when it's sledding season it takes the roughness off and it keeps them from getting raw if out on daily :-):-)
