Question about Prednisone and altered behavior

Has anyone had altered behavior issues with their dog while taking prednisone?
In my dog's case it is in the form of severe separation anxiety.
Altered behavior is one of the many possible side effects listed for prednisone.

I actually have a thread going that discusses his separation anxiety in the dog training and behavior forum.

Since prednisone is only a possible cause I'm asking about that in the health forum since, being a medication, it will get more visibility.

I am doing other research on this now and it seems there have been cases of off the wall behavior in dogs on prednisone. If you have any experiences with this please feel free to discuss.

Thanks

First, Prednisone for dogs can be prescribed only by the attending physician! Do not make a decision about using it yourself!

Secondly, the dosage of Prednisone for dogs is always different depending on the type of disease, weight and age of the dog.

More information about Prednisone can be found here https://www.myprednisoneonline.com

What is your dog on prednisone for, and what is his weight and what is the dosage? How long has he been on it, and what does the Vet say about how long he will need to be on it?
