Puppy with partially collapsed lung

My 9wk old puppy got attacked today by a neighbors dog when she ran inside their house well I rushed her to the vet and they did a xray and nothings broke but her left lung is partially collapsed the Dr gave her some antibiotics and said she'll be ok and I was just wondering is it ok for her to move or walk like to go potty she really hasn't moved from the couch since I got her home I've tried putting her on her puppy pad to see if she wants to potty but she just lays back down

Aww, I am so sorry to hear that. It sucks to see any dog injured, especially a little baby puppy

I am sure the vet knows what they are talking about after examining your puppy. Just do exactly what they told her in terms of treating her with antibiotics and caring for her and I would be sure to follow up with the vet after the antibiotics. I would be very cuddly with her, and love her up a lot to make her feel comfortable and cared for. She may not want to go for a walk with a collapsed lung because it may be harder than before for her to breathe until she is healed. I would maybe carefully let her out on a leash, let her go potty and then bring her back in to rest. Its probably best to let her heal before doing anything too strenuous with her.

If she seems down and doesn't want to move, it could be that she is traumatized from what happened but just give her lots of love and attention and she will heal very soon.
