Powerlines making dogs skin vibrate???

So i’m camping for one night under huge powerlines. When i feel my dogs ears lips or belly skin it vibrates. Not on the fur, not shaking, the dogs are fine. But i wonder what is going on and cant find any info. Please help!

I hope this helps answer your questions! Not a lot of people know why, but they have theories (static electricity). Some say it is dangerous and to stay away from power lines.

I too, have not experienced that particular phenomena, but very high voltage can travel through open air space for some distance. The high voltage, depending on electrical transmission needs, can be as high as 60,000 volts, so it is not inconceivable that some high voltage, though presumably at very low current levels, could be charging either you or and your dog. That could account for that 'vibrating' sensation.
