Poodle skin sore-need help to identify

My mini poodle has a strange single ulceration on his Mid back where he can NOT lick at and not at a typical place for trauma. its about 3mm diameter and 2 mm deep. It had a slight scab peeling off on it but no upward growth or irregularity to it. His hair appears intact around it and there is no redness or cellulitis (infection) around it. Maybe a spider bite not healing? Any other ideas in the dog world? Thanks so much!

I highly suggest you consult a vet. Some vets can be consulted via text or email to see if you need to come in.
