I’m with Healthy Paws as well.
The good thing about them is: there is no annual or lifetime cap and they don’t have a “max-out” age, from when the dog would not be covered anymore because of age.
I used them already and the claims (4 bills in total) were completed within 3 days (even though it was the first time, so they had to do some more on their end than for the following ones).
Also, what I misunderstood and I actually have to reread the policy again, they do cover the vet visit if it is not a routine visit. I thought they never cover the vet visit fee, just everything beyond the standard fee, but they do seem to cover it for accidents (broken nail and pretty badly bleeding puppy ).
However: I do not have any experience with other pet insurance plans, so can’t really speak in comparison.
