Parvo...should I be concerned?

New here, hoping you can help. I recently adopted a corgi. He is eight months old. I'm not sure about previous shots, but I took him 26 days ago for his vaccines (one of which was parvo) and he is going in two days for his 4 week boosters. I took him to a party yesterday and at the party he met a 12-week old lab puppy. He played with the puppy for about 5 minutes (mostly sniffing and yapping at each other), but that was the extent of their contact. Part way through the day, the woman told me she originally purchased two puppies (litter mates), but the second puppy contracted parvo 4 weeks ago and died a few days later. She said this puppy (the one my dog met) never came down with it and is perfectly fine. Being this puppy has been symptom free for 4 weeks and my dog was recently vaccinated for parvo, should I be concerned? I will be watching him like a hawk, regardless.

Id be concerned, just watch and any signs take to vet immediately. A bunch of people and myself all recently adopted puppies. My girl is 11.5weeks but still needs her final booster and bordatella vac. The vet said since she has had at least 2 to start taking her on walks and socialize one on one with other vaccinated dogs but still no high traffic areas. Long story short 2 people i know 5min from me had their puppies come down with parvo. Both thankfully survived, but im so nervous about it like you.
